Children's Privacy Policy
Version 2026-08-v1 · Effective date: Not yet specified · Last updated: Not yet specified
1. The service is for adults
A family account is opened only by an adult. Children do not register independently. A parent or guardian creates a personal child invitation only after giving explicit consent on a dedicated screen, and the child profile is created when that invitation is accepted.
2. Parental consent before inviting a child
Before a child invitation is created, the parent sees a consent screen explaining the information collected, purposes of use, and parent rights. We store the consent version, time of consent, adult account identifier, and invitation identifier. After the child accepts the invitation and the profile is created, the consent record is also linked to the profile identifier. We also store the relationship type (parent or guardian) and verification method. We do not store identity documents.
3. Child information we process
- Nickname or display name
- Internal avatar
- Recorded family balances
- Recorded family transactions
- Savings goals
- Allowance
- Debts
- Requests & approvals
- Permissions
- Activity and security records
- Sign-in information if the child profile is linked to a user account
Do not enter a child's full legal name, address, phone number, school, medical information, identity documents, bank details, or other sensitive information.
4. No sale, advertising, or marketing to children
We do not sell children's information, share it for personalized advertising, build marketing profiles, or send marketing content to children. Child-facing areas of the service do not contain behavioral advertising or advertising trackers.
5. Communications with a child profile
Messages and notifications directed to a child profile are limited to family activity, savings goals, requests, security, and service operation, under parent control.
6. Parent rights
- Review information collected about the child.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Change permissions and privacy levels.
- Receive a copy of the information.
- Withdraw parental consent.
- Request deletion or deactivation of the child profile.
- Stop further collection or use of information.
Withdrawing consent may require deletion or deactivation of the child's profile because we may no longer have authority to process the information.
7. Safety and appropriate content
Do not enter humiliating remarks, medical details, custody disputes, family secrets, or content that could harm a child. The service is not intended for punishment, humiliation, secret monitoring, or coercive control.
8. Age transition
When a child reaches an age at which independent consent is legally available, we may request updated consent from the child or parent, change account-control settings, or offer an appropriate transition process.
