The service is not a bank
Version 2026-08-v1 · Effective date: Not yet specified · Last updated: Not yet specified
1. What the service does
- Lets parents and children record and track family money in an organized way.
- Displays balances calculated from transaction records rather than a manually edited balance field.
- Helps children plan savings goals, track allowance, and manage requests with parents.
- Serves as an educational tool for family conversations about money.
2. What the service does not do
- It is not a bank or financial institution and does not provide payment services.
- It does not hold money, manage deposits, or safeguard funds for anyone.
- It does not transfer real money between people, accounts, or wallets.
- It does not provide credit, loans, interest, or investment products.
- It does not issue cards, payment instruments, or vouchers.
- It does not provide financial, tax, or legal advice.
3. What displayed balances mean
Every amount shown in the service — balance, savings, debt, parent vault, or allowance — is an internal record reflecting family agreement. Real money, if any, is held by family members or in external accounts not connected to the service.
4. Real-world transfer of money
Any cash handover or real payment takes place outside the service and is solely the responsibility of family members. Marking an amount as "given" or "received" in the service records what the family reports and is not proof that a payment occurred.
5. User responsibility
The records are an aid. Financial disputes between family members, data-entry errors, or differences between records and reality are the family's responsibility. We are not a party to financial agreements between family members.
